Changelog
Major customer-facing features and the month they shipped. Bug fixes stay out of this list. Dates are when the work landed in the product, not when we wrote the ad.
-
September 2026
- Top 10 spend and year-over-year case drift. Receipts ranks the cases you buy the most and shows how far each one moved, so you can send the list to the distributor.
- Reviewed pack prices that stay put. Confirm a line on a receipt and MenuForge keeps that price instead of letting the next OCR pass guess again.
-
August 2026
- Toast POS. Menu sync, recipe match, and sales into the kitchen — including modifiers that share one recipe.
- Receipt processing rebuild. Email or upload an invoice. Pack costs flow into the pantry and every recipe that uses them recosts.
- Inventory counts and par sheets. Count by storage area. Pars use estimated on-hand instead of another weekend in a spreadsheet.
-
June 2026
- Post a dish to Facebook. AI copy from the recipe card, in your voice, with the photo already in the app.
-
Already in the product
- Live plate cost on the open recipe, plus minimum sell price and contribution margin.
- Nested batch recipes. House seasoning inside the beef inside the patty inside the burger — garlic salt counted all the way up.
- Dietary flags that roll up from ingredients, including batches.
- AI recipe generation with Cost Target, Pantry Usage, and Insanity sliders, plus menu descriptions and cup-to-case math.
- Vendor variants on one ingredient, so a GFS case and a Sysco bag do not fight over which cost is real.
