1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MenuForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MenuForge is a web-based recipe management and AI recipe generation platform. The Service allows users to create, organize, cost, and collaborate on recipes and ingredient inventories.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
MenuForge offers free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan:
- You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@menuforge.ai for refund requests.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all recipes, ingredients, and other content you create in the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content as needed to operate the Service, including AI-powered features.
6. AI-Generated Content
Recipes, descriptions, and other content generated by MenuForge's AI features are provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, nutritional information, or suitability of AI-generated recipes.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
- Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and code (excluding User Content), is owned by MenuForge and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MenuForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data before account deletion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
